BUILDING COMMUNITIES THROUGH EMPLOYMENT
By offering employment to Cotton and Nettle growers, we strengthen farming communities and boost local economies. This fosters sustainable development and a better livelihood for these communities. Nettle fabric ethically supports homemakers, women, and families in receiving a decent income and enables them to work from home.
SUPPORT FOR SUSTAINABLE FARMING COMMUNITIES
Naturally grown Brown cotton from India, supports local farming communities that prioritise sustainable agricultural practices. This helps to promote a more equitable and environmentally conscious textile industry. Brown cotton is cultivated without synthetic fertilisers, pesticides, or genetic modifications. It is an environmentally sustainable choice, reducing harmful effects on the soil, water, and ecosystem.
SUSTAINABLE AND RENEWABLE MATERIALS
Nettle fibre is made from Himalayan Nettles, wild harvested in Uttarakhand. The plant used to make this fabric grows quickly, providing a sustainable and renewable source of material. This fabric is produced by hand, supporting skilled labour and reducing the use of chemicals, energy, machinery, and pollution.
